Music is Life

Let me first say, if you havent read the Merchant of Venice by Will.I.am Shakespeare you should prolly get on it. I know what you are thinking and no I didnt read it... haha BUT YOU SHOULD. No really though, its a great piece, but also has one of my fav quotes...

my love for this quote prolly explains why Im skeptical of every person that says "im just not really into music".  I DONT EVEN KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS. anyway... on to the blog post.

As I lay in bed at 2:38am with sleep nowhere in sight, listening to my iTunes on shuffle (currently playing Daniel Beddingfield-gotta get thru this acoustic) I cant help but smile. Every song I hear reminds me of a time in my life. I'm not sure about other people, but I remember exactly where I was and what I was doing for almost every song I have heard. This particular song makes me laugh, I had the biggest crush on this girl (2002)... lol and she wasnt interested so I played it on repeat until I got over her (the following week). Now the Yeah Yeah Yeahs are playing... let me just say Karen O is one of the most attractive and talented singers around. Ok now I first heard them when I was a senior in high school, I was up at 2 in the morning watching MTV (must be old, they still played videos) and the song MAPS came on, although its the same few chords over and over that song is amazing. haha Craig David... enough said. Lets end this before people start to think I actually have feelings. :0)
